Relating to God

It's not enough to simply know of God.  The devil "knows of God". Once we've accepted Jesus Christ as lord and savior, we need to grow close to him. There are many ways to do this but all involve the forming of a relationship with him.

First, we need to read his word. Studying it and committing verses to memory is the first step in a life-long process of getting to know God better. From there, daily journaling combined with time in his word will serve to both hook you up with God personally and also help you to watch your growth as a Christian take off and develope.
